The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) provides a safe and humane environment to promote positive inmate rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society. The agency has a website with full details on inmates, their most recent location, scheduled visits, and release dates. The Department of Corrections also maintains an online database system where you can find inmates by name or ID number. However, the database does not contain juvenile offenders.
The MDOC maintains an online database that contains information on current and former inmates. You can conduct a Mississippi State inmate search in four simple steps, as shown below;
Step 1: Go to the Mississippi offender locator page.
Step 2: On the page, choose whether to use the Mississippi inmate ID number or the inmate name in the search. Enter all or part of their first and last names as it appears on the inmate's official documents.
