Idaho Inmate Search

Idaho
Updated on: December 18, 2022

The state of Idaho provides detailed information to the public for free about convicts incarcerated at various jails and prisons across the state, on parole and probation. To locate an inmate, visit the Idaho Department of Corrections official site

Records of inmates in county jails and federal prisons may contain police reports on the felonies committed, mug shots, arrest warrants, fingerprints, and DNA samples. The inmate search option will also provide information on released prisoners but does not show prisoners' convictions.

The state provides interested individuals with various options for finding an inmate. Loved ones can locate an inmate using the IDOC number. If unsure about the inmate's IDOC number, enter the detainee's first name, middle name, or last name in the Idaho State offender tool.

The site will provide you with names of various potential detainees, select your preferred inmate, and get details such as:

  •  DOC number
  • Status of the prisoners
  •  Age
  •  Sex
  •  Supervising district and officer
  •  Sentence information and jail
  •  Date of release

Idaho's department of correction consistently updates the database to ensure that the information provided is accurate. Copies of records about incarcerated individuals are also available for the public upon request.

To search for an inmate in county jails, visit the official website and check on the jail records. Alternatively, call or walk in to get detailed info about inmates.

The state initiative to protect the public from sex predators enables the department of correction to provide an updated sex offender search option that provides:

  • All the essential information and physical details of an offender.
  • Mug shots.
  • The primary address of sex offenders for the public for free.

The inmate search results contain criminals held for offenses such as substance use, robbery, rape, and other serious felonies stipulated under Illinois state law regulations.
