Adam Petersen won election to his seat in November of 2018 and began serving as District 9 Commissioner on January 1, 2019.  
Adam serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Collective Bargaining and the following committees: Emergency Management Advisory Council and Mid-Michigan District Health Board of Directors.
