Arizona Inmate Search

Arizona
Updated on: December 18, 2022

The Arizona Department of Corrections maintains inmate records containing all the recently imprisoned individuals in the 13 correctional facilities. Interested parties can access inmate details in multiple ways, including the most common one: the internet.

Various third-party sites provide these details to interested members at a cost. However, this data may need to be more reliable and accurate as the detainee's custody status changes. In such a case, relying on the state offender's locator is recommended, as it has the most recent information.

Arizona State Inmate Search Process

Step 1: First, visit the Arizona State offender locator website. The site offers two popular search options, name search, and ADC Number search option. If you opt for the ADC Number search category, the searchers must enter the inmate incarceration number. This option is more accurate as each inmate has a unique identifying number.

Step 2: If the requester uses the name search category, they need to enter the detainee's last and first names initials in the search box and click the search button.

Step 3: The search results showing the inmates' list matching the data previously entered appear. The searcher can narrow the results by specifying their gender and the most recent incarceration status.

Step 4: From the detainee's list that pops up, click on the inmate of your interest to access additional details such as;

  • Inmate's age
  • Weight
  • Imprisonment dates
  • Mugshots
  • Name of the incarceration facility
  • Ethnicity
  • Possible parole units.

The advanced search also shows the release dates. However, these dates vary depending on different factors. Therefore, interested members should regularly confirm with the specific correctional facility.
