Montcalm County Planning Commission

The Montcalm County Planning Commission Ordinance was approved in September, 2003 and the Commission was organized in January 2004. A new ordinance that complies with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act was adopted in September, 2009.

 

The ordinance, by-laws, membership and minutes are available by following the links below. The Montcalm County Fact Book, General Plan and information on the Land Use Educator are also available below.

The Planning Commission is in the process of amending the Montcalm County General Plan.  A Public Hearing for the public to comment on the proposed amendments.  The proposed amendments to the General Plan may be examined Monday through Friday in the Office of the Couny Controller, 211 W. Main Street, 3rd Floor, Stanton, MI between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, May 18, 2013 or by clicking on the link below.
