Betty Kellenberger won election to her seat in August 2010 and began serving as District 9 Commissioner on January 1, 2011.  After reapportionment in 2012, Betty now serves as the Commissioner for District 3.  Betty serves as Chairperson of the Law Enforcement and Courts Committee.  She also serves on the following committees:  Finance and Personnel, Collective Bargaining - as an alternate, 9-1-1 Authority Board, Commission on Aging Executive Board, Community Corrections Advisory Board, Mid-Michigan District Health Department Board of Directors, Montcalm Center for Behavioral Health Board, Northern Michigan Counties Association - as an alternate, Parks & Recreation Commission and the Prison Liaison Committee.
