Press Release for Montcalm County Recycling Program New Resident Drop Off Site In Lakeview

Montcalm County residents have access to five, recycle drop-off sites located throughout Montcalm County.  Residents are encouraged to properly dispose of recyclable items that might otherwise be landfilled or burned.  Acceptable recyclables collected at the drop-off sites are delivered to the Kent County Recycling and Education Center in Grand Rapids.  The recyclables are then sorted, baled, and shipped to end-users, saving landfill space, natural resources, and helping to preserve our environment.

For recycling questions contact, the Montcalm Conservation District at 989-831-4606 x4

Vehicle Donation Program (Recycle for vehicles in bad shape)

Michigan, Your Car Donation Can Help A Make-A-Wish Kid

Our mission believes that every child, no matter his or her health, deserves a chance to have a happy and fulfilling childhood. By donating your vehicle, we are able to raise funds to support Make-A-Wish chapters in locations throughout the country, helping grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. A wish is an opportunity for a child to focus on something other than their medical routines, and be a kid again.
